Dr. Irania Ravanan – Senior Consultant, Preventive Medicine

Dr. Irania Ravanan is a Senior Consultant in Preventive Medicine with over 30 years of experience in internal medicine, diabetes care, and preventive health. He completed his MBBS from Madurai Medical College, Madurai, followed by an MD in Internal Medicine from Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai. He also completed a Diploma in Allergy & Asthma from Christian Medical College, Vellore.

He has worked with several well-known healthcare institutions such as Apollo Hospitals, Global Hospitals, Dr. Mohan’s MV Diabetes Hospital, Kovai Medical Center, and Prakriya Hospital, Bengaluru. His work focuses on diabetes management, lifestyle diseases, and preventive care.

Dr. Irania has also been actively involved in academic activities, serving as a chairperson at national-level endocrinology conferences. He has contributed to improving healthcare access through rural outreach and early diagnosis initiatives during his tenure in Coimbatore.
